Investment Choices
Your ShareBuilder 401(k) Account provides you with different options on how you can invest in your retirement with ETF index funds. Learn more about ETFs in our Education section. All index funds available through ShareBuilder are Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). Learn more about ETFs in our Education section.

You can select from a list of model portfolios that take into account your risk tolerance and time horizon for investing. Each model portfolio includes a set of ETF index funds and a pre-established allocation percentage for each ETF.

If you are more comfortable with selecting your own investments then you can build your own portfolio. Simply select from the list of ETF index funds in which you want to invest and establish how much of your paycheck contribution you want to allocate to each.
